R.E.N.T.E.R.S. stands for Renters Encountering Negative Tenant Events Requiring Solutions. This group was founded during the Winter of 2005 to bring tenants together to advocate for each other. This summer R.E.N.T.E.R.S. is starting the Tenants Organizing to Reform Community Housing (TORCH) campaign to help local tenants of public housing rise out of poverty
